Khabib, the eagle fell into controversy when he and his team started attacking McGregor and his team post, on his fight with Irish fighter, Conor McGregor in UFC 229.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was born on September 20, 1988 in the village of Kirovaul in the Kizilyurtovsky district (today’s Russia). He was the second of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’s three children, a war veteran and decorated athlete. He began combat training at an early age. In 2001, the family moved to Makhachkala. Here he started training wrestling and at the age of 15 began taking judo lessons. Although he initially saw the transition from wrestling to judo as a challenge, his father found it necessary to learn to compete in a kimono jacket. When he turned 17, his father started training him in sambo combat. Soon his family moved to Kiev, Ukraine, where he continued his education.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a Russian professional wrestler and MMA fighter from Sildi. He is a two-time former world champion in sambo wrestling. Khabib is also the UFC lightweight champion. Khabib holds the title of the longest undefeated series in MMA history. The 32-year-old Russian also has a black belt for judo. Nurmagomedov is the first Russian and the first Muslim to win the UFC Championship. Currently, he is fighting in the final championship in lighter wrestling. From an early age, he trained martial arts, became interested in watching his father train his students. He is recognized as the international master of military hand-to-hand sports, the international master of sports in Pankration and the world champion in Sambo. Khabib Nurmagomedov has won several titles in various fields such as mixed martial arts, sambo, wrestling, and pancreas. In January 2019, he was placed 3rd on the official UFC Pound Ranking.
